Localization

According to the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA), in his introductory guide to the field of localization, localization is “the process of adaptation and manufacture of a product to present the appearance and operation of a manufactured article in a particular country. Thus, localization is a piece of the global business puzzle that allows companies to maintain business in their markets outside the original.”

That is, localization allows the adaptation of a product/service to a particular market for consumers in that market more easily understand the characteristics of the product/service in their local language. That is why the process should take into account the linguistic and cultural environment as well as the technical needs.

Translation plays a critical role in the localization process, but it is only a stage of the process, including: coordination, scheduling, fault monitoring, reviewing, publishing and design software in the case of web page.
